I posted this last week on but I wanted to post it on here as well. This company is amazing! I'm using their service and it's so helpful.

I had the opportunity to speak with Jane Delaney, founder and president of earlier this week. She explained how e-Mealz works and how it came to be.

Jane grew up in the kitchen but had never had any culinary training. She was a frustrated mother of four children trying to get dinner on the table every evening. There had to be some way for a mom to be able to organize a shopping list, maneuver through a grocery store with ease and make quick, affordable dinners that families would love. Jane started collecting recipes from friends and decided that she could solve the problem for other frazzled moms. She was a home cook who didn’t even know how to use email. In fact, she didn’t even own a computer. How would she get the word out about her idea of an all inclusive program that had organized meal plans with shopping lists and recipes? The internet was just starting to really boom so she decided to get on board.

In 2004 e-Mealz was born. E-Mealz is a company that does everything but cook the meal for you. They base their weekly dinner menu around grocery sales items to save you money. All you have to do is print out the menu, grocery list, and cooking directions. The fee for the membership is very small—only $15 for three months. A trip to the grocery store for a weekly dinner menu is usually in the ballpark of $75 to $85. The $5 a month price tag is well worth the money you are saving on your grocery bill.

The e-Mealz system can be used in different grocery stores. There are even different dietary need plans such as low carb, low fat, and a points system. A two person plan is available for empty nesters as well. Each week a new menu is posted on the day the sales flier for your grocery store comes in the mail. All e-Mealz recipes fit the following criteria: simple, few ingredients, inexpensive and family friendly.

Many people don’t know how to cook, not to mention, plan a weekly menu and make a shopping list. E-Mealz helps even the novice cook to plan and create healthy, affordable, and tasty meals for your family.
